Interested in a Christian Discipleship Flat?

Are you interested in living with other young adults, and being discipled and mentored in Miramar?

Peninsula Parish (Anglican Parish of Miramar, Seatoun and Strathmore) is looking for young adults to come and live on site, be involved in the Parish and be discipled as Christians.

Life in this home will include a commitment to Christian formation, rhythms of prayer and hospitality, and intentional time for discipleship.

History

​The Discipleship House idea was a challenge by Bishop Justin Duckworth on how we could utilise the land we have to provide for the church's mission. In 2022, the church set out on a project to build a house that had the following vision:

Provide a ​Home to a discipleship community of young adults
who are active in parish life and champion
the spiritual growth of children and youth in the parish
​through relationship, discipleship and evangelism.

In 2025, this vision was realised, and the community started. In between was the huge process of designing, project managing and funding the house that sits on the site.
