The Peninsula Parish was formed from a merger between the parishes of St Aidan's, Miramar, and St George's Seatoun, and Strathmore. It is part of the Diocese of Wellington, a transformational movement of local faith communities.
We are a group of people who have responded to the good news of Jesus, and the forgiveness of sins. In response to this love and mercy of God, and by the power of his Spirit, we are committed to living renewed lives that reflect this, following the way of Jesus. Nau mai, haere mai! You are welcome here. Our prayer is that you would experience our life together and say, "Wow, your faith in Jesus has created a community of such rich diversity, infectious joy, and positive change. How can I belong?" Come with your questions. Come with your joy and your sorrows. Come as you are. |
Parish Leadership
Ministry TeamEvery person in the parish!
We affirm that the Church is a body made up of all of us and that every one of us is needed, has gifts, and is called to serve. The leaders' call is to equip and encourage people for this work. |

What do we believe?Below is a link to the catechism (core teachings) of the Anglican Church of New Zealand. A catechism is a teaching resource that offers the basic beliefs of the church in a question and answer format. It is not a complete statement of belief or practice, but a good starting point.
