Shop 89 is an op shop with a difference. More than a great place to find quality, pre-loved items, it is place for community and a distribution outlet for the Eastern Suburbs Fruit & Vege Co-op. 
Come in for a cuppa and chat to the friendly staff.

Welcome & Hospitality

At the heart of the shop are the couches and a place to share a free cuppa and friendly conversation. Join the couch crew for the daily newspaper quiz, or to meet a new neighbour.

Op Shop

Shop 89 contains all things homeware, bric-a-brac,  clothing, toys, books, CDs, games, jewelry, and even a craft corner. Come in, find a hidden gem and affordable clothes for all the family.

Knitwear for Babies

Our Ladies' Guild create beautiful homemade knit-ware, including booties, bonnets and jerseys. All proceeds from these sales go to supporting local charities

Donations

If you have quality new or used goods to donate, please bring them in during opening hours.
We are unable to accept furniture or electrical goods at this time.

Fruit and Vege Co-op

Shop 89 is a distribution center for the Newtown Fruit & Vege Co-op.
Sign up to order $15 fruit and vegetable packs and $8 Cartons of eggs.

The Foodbank has moved

Miramar Strathmore Foodhelp is now located
 at the Wesley Community Action Hub (Cnr of Hobart and Devonshire Road)
Clients can ring in a request on Thursday's between 9am-12 noon, and collect parcels between 1-1.30pm.
